Vision: The vision of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties is to significantly contribute to the healthy development of youth in our community.

Mission Statement: To foster, facilitate, and support volunteer based mentoring programs for children in need within our community.

Our Goal: The goal of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings & Prince Edward Counties is to provide a Big for every Little within our organization.

Mentoring Works: children and youth who participate in our programs are:

53% less likely to skip school and more likely to stay in school longer;
46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs;
27% less likely to initiate alcohol use

Programs:

We have a wide variety of programs to serve the community, our traditional program, In School Mentoring program and we are now proud to say we have the Go Girls Program! For more information on these please visit the program section of our website.
